HIGH STAKES. GREAT SWING.

How to play Overpower

Overpower is a free 2D multiplayer browser game. Defend your mountain with a bat and become the last survivor as the water rises.

Kiro, Krágor, Lior and Chispa: four Overpower fighters

Get started in three steps

  1. Open Overpower, choose an available fighter and enter your name.
  2. Choose a mode and complete the entry verification. You can play as a guest; Google sign-in is optional.
  3. In Royale, jump out of the plane, steer your parachute and land on a mountain. In a duel, get ready to return the ball.

No downloads or app installation are needed. On mobile, rotate your screen to landscape; on a computer, you can use the keyboard. You need an Internet connection and a browser that supports JavaScript and WebGL.

Choose your game mode

Quick

Find a public 8-player match. The wait lasts up to 10 seconds, and bots fill any remaining spots.

1v1 with a friend

Create a duel and share its 4-digit code, link or QR code. The match starts when both players join. Either player can request a rematch and keep the room score.

Royale and Friends

Set up a match for 2 to 16 participants. Play against bots or create a private room. The host starts the match, and AI opponents fill the empty spots.

AI Duel

Practise on a single mountain against a computer-controlled opponent. Choose Easy, Normal or Expert difficulty.

The first-match guide explains the controls in the game and can be skipped. You can also switch between English and Spanish and adjust the sound from the menu.

Master the perfect hit

Hold the button to charge your bat and release it at the right moment. Each fighter has their own power, recovery and perfect-hit window: check the fighter collection or press stats for nerds in the menu.

The ball accelerates with each rally. A perfect hit can set it on fire. You can hit the eagle too: in a duel, it bounces between opponents; when you are alone, it can help you climb a level.

Only two players can occupy a mountain in Royale. Control your flight, find a landing spot and stay out of the water. Matches are designed to last roughly 2 to 3 minutes, although they can end sooner.

Earn balls and unlock fighters

Sign in with Google before joining a match to save balls to your account. Winning a duel earns 10, a tie earns 5 and a loss earns 3. In Royale, first place earns 15; second earns 10 and third earns 7 if there are players below them. Other places, including a shared last place, earn 3. A final tie at the summit earns 5.

Krágor, Lior and Chispa cost 50 balls each. Your balance and unlocks carry across devices. You also earn rewards against AI and in rooms with friends. In Royale, you can leave after elimination without losing your reward; leaving before you have a result does not earn balls.

Frequently asked questions

Is it free?

Yes. Fifteen fighters are available from the start. The other three are unlocked with points earned by playing.

Do I need an account?

Not to play with the free fighters. Google sign-in lets you save balls and unlocks, and use the optional PvP voice chat.

Can I play with friends on mobile?

Yes. Share the link, four-digit code or QR code for a 1v1 room or a private Royale. Each player joins from their browser.

What happens if I lose my connection?

A bot can temporarily take over. You can reclaim your seat with the credential saved in that browser tab while the room is available. Results and room scores are kept for the lifetime of the room.
